My Bio
I'm Elliot, or Ell as some people call me (few have gone as far as "L" though), 16 and from the sunny, sunny land of Scotland. And no, I don't wear a kilt on a daily basis;)
My aspiration is to get into the comics industry and work for Marvel, specifically it's Ultimate line, release some creator-owned projects and get a chance to meet (or even work with) my favourite comic creators. So obviously, my user ID name is a bit out of date now. I've drawn since I was little, but only recently really focused on what art style I want to work in, which why I have few sequentials. Hey guys,
I've decided to finally get around to making a new DA account, something I've been meaning to for ages. I'm doing it for a few reasons:
1. My deviantART username is now pretty out of date, as being a mangaka (manga artist) isn't my goal any more. My goal now is to become a western style comic artist, which makes more sense as being British-born makes it substantially hard to be Japanese, apparently. Plus, I just prefer western comics now. The brilliant Mr Jim Ohara has decided to get an anthology of works created by Millarworld members (Mark Millar's site) to collaborate on to showcase their work and gain exposure. Copies will be sent to Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Top Cow and other comic publishers in a bid to get participants noticed and given work. This is inspired by the rising talent at MW, such as member David Lafuente who's since joining has become the artist on Brian michael Bendis' Ultimate Spider-man. It can and does happen!

Found the link for it on ~Billnichols (https://www.deviantart.com/billnichols)'s website Comics Mentor (http://comicsmentor.com/) which is a very good site for info, advice or that kick up the backside you needed to get one with something. Bill's also a pretty fine inker, so check out his gallery.
Anyway, Delve Comics are a new comic company/biz that are setting up, and want new artists to join them. I'm hoping to enter, as I thought some of you guys might want to too, so posted the link.;)
